Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Gitanjali steps in to stop Armaan (Rohit Purohit) from confessing the truth about Maira's real identity

Star Plus’s show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is unleashing major drama in the upcoming episode with Gitanjali stomping on the little chance of Armaan and Abhira’s reconciliation.

Armaan and Abhira’s relationship has turned into something distant with many wounds over the last seven years but it faces the reality with the arrival of Armaan in the family home.

Armaan realises how delusional he has been all these years to think that Abhira has been living a happy life by herself when in reality, she has not got anything other than suffering.

Abhira is still searching for her daughter everywhere as she does not know where Pookie is which stabs Armaan’s heart in the worst possible way.

Without being able to bear the guilt of hurting Abhira to this extent, Armaan decides that he needs to do the right thing by telling the truth to Abhira.

Abhira suddenly gets shocked as Armaan launches himself at her on his knees and starts to cry while trying to confess the truth regarding something important.

Armaan says that he has done a big wrong to her to which Abhira asks if he wants to say something about Gitanjali and Maira which will pierce her heart once again.

Gitanjali's action leads to the destruction of the last hope of reconciliation 

As Armaan proceeds to tell Abhira about the real identity of Maira, Gitanjali steps in out of nowhere and stops Armaan from finishing his sentence.

Gitanjali snatches away Armaan’s hands from Abhira and says that she needs to talk to Armaan in private.

Armaan protests about his desire to finish the talk with Abhira but Abhira leaves the house, letting Gitanjali get the first chance to talk and understand things with Armaan.

Is Gitanjali showing her real colours by stopping Armaan from confessing the truth to Abhira which will lead to a big change in the story?
