Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest running show in Stra Plus channel. The show is currently witnessing its Fourth generation with Rohit Purohit and Samridhi Shukla playing the lead couple Armaan and Abhira. The show has been able to leave a huge impact in the lives of the ardent fans as the show focusses on family bonds and forward thinking about how to handle relationship and dignity together. The show also promotes joint family structure in the Indian Society that is dying out soon.
It seems that there is a significant drop in the TRP of the show and the channel has given notice to the makers of the show and this has sparked an online debate over the pressure that makers of show face due to the pressure from the channel to perform at any cost. The television industry is very stressful as making episodes on daily basis is far difficult than any other form of filming.
Now if rumors are to be believed the show is soon going to witness its 5th generation leap. Armaan and Abhira will be seen exiting the show and Mukti and Maira will become the lead of the show. Kaveri and Vidhya will be staying in the show post the leap as well. Kaveri will be taking care of Mukti and Maira as this is going to be Armaan and Abhira’s last wish.
Mukti will be jealous of Maira as she will get a lot of attention of the family as she is their heir. Mukti will be seen turning negative as she will try to snatch everything that belongs to Maira including her relationships.
The lead of the 5th generation has not been revealed yet bit the makers have already locked in the storyline of the show. Kaveri and Vidhya will be seen having very different point of views about raising Mukti and Maira together.
Will Mukti and Maira be able to bond as sisters or not? Will Mukti be able to know that Armaan helped the murderer of her father escape and was also the reason behind the death of her mother or not? Will Maira and Mukti be able to bond or not?
