Prerna's unexpted divorce step seeing Ansh's care only for Pranshi in Star Plus show Anupama

In the Star Plus show Anupama, viewers will see that while Anupama is trying hard to overcome her own problems, another major issue is already making its way into her life in the form of Pranshi.

Ansh has won Pranshi's custody, and while the family is happy about the decision, his wife Prerna is far from pleased. She feels that Ansh now cares only about Pranshi and is completely ignoring her feelings. Her insecurity deepens when Ansh refuses to accompany her to a friend's dinner because he wants to stay home and spend time with Pranshi.

Ishani notices that Prerna is upset and urges Ansh to go with her, assuring him that the family will take care of Pranshi. However, Ansh remains firm in his decision. Unfortunately, this is not a one-time incident. Prerna's insecurities gradually turn into anger as Ansh continues to prioritise Pranshi over her.

Taking advantage of the situation, Gautam, Paritosh, and Pakhi begin manipulating Prerna. They convince her that she was merely a means for Ansh to secure Pranshi's custody and that she is now of no importance to him. Slowly, Prerna gets brainwashed against both Ansh and Anupama, leading her to take an unthinkable step that no one expected.

Prerna finally gives Ansh an ultimatum. She tells him that if Pranshi is all that matters to him, then he can stay with her. Prerna demands a divorce and asks for alimony so that she can fulfil her dreams independently.

Prerna badmouths Anupama for supporting Ansh in Pranshi's case

Her demand leaves both Ansh and Anupama shocked. Anupama tries to make Prerna understand the situation, but Prerna lashes out at her instead. She accuses Anupama of supporting Ansh's decision only because he had helped her financially in the past. Prerna continues to insult and blame Anupama, which eventually pushes Ansh to his breaking point. Losing his temper, Ansh agrees to the separation.

Anupama is devastated to see Samar's son Ansh's life falling apart. She deeply loves him and cannot bear watching his marriage crumble before her eyes.

It will be interesting to see whether Ansh and Prerna actually part ways or if Anupama manages to resolve their differences before it's too late.
