Hui Gum Yaadein is the latest offering from Sony SAB that explores the life of a doctor who loses his past but finds a new soul.

This upcoming show promises to be a roller coaster of emotions and drama for the audience.

The first promo for the show is finally out and it has left fans buzzing with excitement. Iqbal Khan takes the lead as a doctor who has completely lost his memory.

In a very touching scene from the promo we see him interacting with a young boy at the hospital. He is so friendly that he even helps the child with his sports training right there in the medical ward.

This is a far cry from the person he used to be before his accident. What if the man he was before is someone he would never want to meet again?

The contrast in his personality is the most intriguing part of the plot. Before the memory loss he was a nightmare to work with. He was rude and arrogant and the entire medical staff lived in fear of him.

They all preferred to keep their distance because of his terrible temper. Now he is the complete opposite.

He is kind and approachable which makes everyone wonder how a person can change so drastically.

Is this new personality just a side effect of the trauma or has he truly found redemption through forgetting?

The Heart Of The Medical Mystery

We also have some exciting news about the rest of the cast. The talented Srishti Singh has been confirmed as the female lead and her entry is expected to bring a lot of warmth to the story.

There is also a lot of talk about Ekta Kaul who plays a pivotal role. Could she be the ex wife who shares a troubled past with our hero?

The show is actually an official Hindi remake of a popular Italian series called Doc which has been a hit in several other languages. This is the first time the story is being adapted for the Indian audience.

The drama will not stop at just memory loss. We will see him dealing with the heavy burden of his past trauma including the tragic loss of his son.

His previous relationship with his wife was also full of conflict and those secrets will slowly start to come out as the episodes progress. Will he be able to handle the truth of his old life when it finally catches up to him?

I personally feel that a massive plot twist is coming where his old personality might suddenly resurface at a critical moment. The show is expected to launch towards the end of January probably after the twentieth.
