Nostalgia Broken as Parth Turns Evil in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

Balaji Telefilms' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi became a cult classic in Indian television, and audiences still share an immense emotional connection with its characters and iconic scenes including Tulsi and Mihir Virani's marriage, Mihir's death and return, Mandira's entry, Karan's introduction as Mihir's illegitimate son, Gomzy's behavior, and the most unforgettable moment when Tulsi killed her own son Ansh Virani.

All these scenes created history in television, and with such strong nostalgia attached to the show, Ekta Kapoor finally brought Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi back with a second season.

However, the new season has started to repeat the same patterns. Storylines such as Pari's evil behavior, Angad-Vrinda's troubled marriage, and Nyona's entry as the second woman in Mihir's life (leading to Mihir and Tulsi's divorce) echo the past. Tulsi's entry into the business world, Ranvijay's trap, Reo's arrival, and misunderstandings added drama, but the most shocking change was turning Nandini and Karan rebellious against Tulsi and transforming their son Parth from a sweet character into a monster.

The repetition of tracks, including the marital rape issue between Parth and Vaishnavi and the killing of Reo, has left fans shocked and disappointed. They are unable to digest the recycling of old plots. Many viewers are unhappy with the negative turn of Parth, played by Sohil Singh Jhuthi, who was once loved for his innocent and charming portrayal.

Fans wishes to see Sohil Singh Jhuti positive

Making Tulsi a criminal again and sending her to jail repeating the same history - has also become a major point of criticism. While Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi holds a special nostalgic bond with audiences, the current storyline changes are upsetting them.

That said, Sohil Singh Jhuthi is performing the negative role convincingly, but fans still wish to see him in his earlier sweet and innocent avatar as Parth.
