The entertainment world is buzzing with news about a brand new show that is set to hit our screens very soon.
This project comes from the talented minds who gave us some of the most popular comedy hits on television. The new series is titled Rafoo and it features a cast that we are all very excited to see.
At the center of this story is Maniesh Paul who plays a man with big dreams of becoming a famous singer. However life has not been very kind to his career just yet. He is what many would call a struggling artist. But his professional life is not the only thing that is complicated.
In a very strange turn of events he is living with his ex mother in law. Why would anyone choose to stay with their former mother in law while their marriage is over? This setup alone is enough to make us wonder what kind of secrets are hiding in that household. It is a very unusual choice for a man who is trying to start over.
The plot thickens because his ex wife who is played by the talented Angira Dhar lives in the very same building. She resides in the apartment directly above him. Unlike Maniesh she has found great success in her life and career.
To make things even more tense she is living there with her new boyfriend. Can you imagine the tension in the hallway when they all run into each other? It sounds like a total nightmare for anyone who has ever had a messy breakup.
As they keep seeing each other it becomes clear that the past is not as far away as they thought. Even though there is a new boyfriend in the picture there are hints that Maniesh and Angira still have feelings for one another.
Is it possible to truly move on when your ex is literally living right above your head? We are expecting many funny and awkward situations as they navigate this love triangle.
The creators are known for their great comedy and this show seems to have plenty of it. We are already hearing that a major plot twist is coming that will turn their lives upside down.
