Smriti Irani's reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi gets the OG 10:30 PM time slot, Jhanak new generation story shifts to 11 PM
Star Plus is bringing its iconic classic serial Kabhi Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on the TV screens once again with Smriti Irani returning to the TV industry after decades. The shooting has started with strict security because of Smriti Irani’s connection to politics.
The show is set to air from 3rd July at 10:30 PM for which the promo will drop anytime on the social handles of Star Plus. Fans are very excited to see the remake of the iconic family show which won numerous hearts in the old generation.
The remake of the old TV shows has been a successful trend till now with Star Plus trying this track time and time again. They aired Kasauti Zindagi Ki with new leads after many years which gained huge popularity among the viewers and fans of the show.
Now with the casting of new faces for the reboot of the show, all eyes are on the production of Ekta Kapoor who is leading the shooting as the main producer. Fans have showed their brewing excitement online which are projecting high hopes for the show when it airs.
Jhanak to get decreased viewership with the time slot change
However, Jhanak will face dire consequences with the airing of the new show and taking its old time slot at night. With Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi airing at 10:30 PM, the new story of Jhanak will get pushed back to 11 PM which does not get much viewership because of the late-night slot.
Leena Gangopadhyay produced Jhanak is ready to introduce the next generation to the viewers with new actors getting cast which is expected to get new viewers. However, with the time slot change, there might be a chance of decreasing viewership for the show in upcoming episodes.
