Emily In Paris Episode 2 written story: Emily’s Quest to Survive in Paris Continues

Emily is adjusting to her new strange life in one of the most beautiful cities of the world.

On the plus side her Instagram posts are being appreciated by more than 1000 followers.

On the negative side her differences with her boss Sylvie are becoming more and more pronounced.

However, after listening to Emily’s ideas, Sylvie reluctantly agrees to invite her to the launch of her new client Antoine Lambert’s party who owns a perfume brand ‘De L’Heure,

Antoine is immediately charmed by Emily’s ideas of marketing but Sylvie remains miffed with this whole interaction.

Later Julien (another work colleague) informs her that Sylvie is actually Antoine’s mistress.

Although Antoine wants Emily to work for his brand, Sylvie has other ideas.

She handovers Emily another project ‘Vaja-jeune’, a female lubricant commenting that her experience has been with pharmaceuticals only.

With everything too much to handle Emily wants an escape and went out with Mindy for dinner.

Is Paris Right Move for Emily?

 Mindy advises her to not to think too much about it as ‘French are romantic but are also realists’.

She receives a pleasant surprise when she discovers that her cute neighbor Gabriel is also a chef at a café near her house.

Viewers are also given a little backdrop of Mindy’s life that how she has left her parents legacy in search of a new life for her. She aspires to be a singer.

 On top of everything Emily faces a breakup with her long-distance Chicago boyfriend.

All this makes Emily doubtful about her move to Paris but is consoled by her friend Mindy that things would soon turn around for better.

Not long after that this comes true when ‘Brigitte Macron’ first French lady retweet one of Emily’s post about Vaja-jeune.

She finally gets invited to lunch with her colleagues.
