Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Why did Mehar finally confess her dark deeds to a shocked Arman

Everyone loves a big wedding celebration but in this house a wedding always comes with a side of huge drama. Just when we thought things were going smoothly a simple mistake by Vidhya has turned the entire world upside down for Arman and Mehar. It all started when Vidhya left her phone on a table in a rush. Little did she know that her carelessness would lead to the biggest reveal of the season.

Arman and little Mayra happened to find the phone and what they discovered inside was enough to stop anyone in their tracks. It turns out that Vidhya and Mehar were keeping a very dark secret from the rest of the family.

While Vidhya wanted to keep this truth buried forever fate had other plans. This discovery has put Mehar in a very tight spot especially since Abhira has already been shouting from the rooftops about Mehar's dangerous nature.

Abhira is convinced that Mehar has serious anger issues that could be a threat to Mayra. She even challenged Mehar saying she would never let this marriage happen. Mehar tried to act brave by saying that Arman trusts her more than his own ex-wife but her lies are finally catching up to her.

The phone that told a thousand lies

Arman is not someone who stays silent when he smells a lie. He took the phone and went straight to Mehar to demand an answer. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. He asked her directly about what happened with Rajat and Vani in the past.

At first Mehar tried to dodge the questions. she looked nervous and started shaking. She tried to tell Arman that digging up the past would only ruin their happy mood and waste their time. She even tried to blame Abhira for poisoning his mind.

However Arman was not ready to back down. He showed her the evidence on Vidhya's phone and gave her a final choice. He told her that if she told the truth they might have a chance but a lie would mean the end of their relationship.

He made it clear that even if they are getting married for Mayra's sake he cannot be with someone he does not trust. Seeing no way out Mehar finally broke down in tears. She confessed that everything in the past was her fault and asked Arman to forget it.
