In the Star Plus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Tulsi finds herself in jail, accused of killing Parth. Ignoring the jailer's warning, Tulsi confronts Arundhati, who mocks her for killing her son and grandson. Tulsi boldly replies that if she could sacrifice her loved ones for justice, Arundhati is nothing compared to her. This sets the stage for Tulsi to end Arundhati's reign of terror in jail, even though she suffers in the process of protecting other prisoners.

After the jail track, both Tulsi's life and Shanti Niketan move toward a new journey, with fresh twists unfolding after a 10-year leap.
