How much more can Mannat endure before she finally breaks under the pressure of his constant schemes and lack of faith.

Fire and festive fury

The scene shifts to the festive Lohri function where everyone is celebrating but the air is thick with unspoken secrets.

Vikrant arrives seeking a moment of peace and as he closes his eyes to pray he feels a strange sense of calm that he has not felt in years.

When he opens them he sees a woman nearby with her face partially hidden by a dupatta.

In a moment that feels like it belongs in a movie he reaches out and moves the cloth only to find his Mannat standing right there. For a second time stands still and the emotional connection between them is undeniable.

Will they finally find their way back to each other or is this just the calm before a massive storm that destroys everything they once built together.

The peace is shattered when little Dua runs up and screams for her mother. This is where a massive plot twist is coming to ruin everything.

Vikrant sees Dhairya standing close by and immediately jumps to the most painful and wrong conclusion possible.

He decides right then and there that Dua is actually the daughter of Dhairya and Mannat.

His eyes which were filled with tears of joy seconds ago turn cold with pure hatred and jealousy. Instead of a happy reunion Mannat is met with Vikrant's biting anger and cruel accusations.

It is truly heartbreaking to see that despite everything he still does not trust her and chooses to believe the worst about her character.
