Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Big change in YRKKH's storyline as old characters bid their goodbyes to the show after the leap

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has made a big change in its storyline with the 7-year leap after which Abhira and Armaan are seen to lead completely different lives by themselves with only some of the previous characters appearing on the screen. Only Kaveri and Vidya appear to live with Abhira in a new place, while the remaining Poddar family stays absent from the show for now.

As we have reported earlier, Garvita Sadhwani aka Ruhi is set to leave the show after the big leap as she thinks that her character has got sidelined in the recent storyline which primarily focuses on Armaan and Abhira only. With a new actress entering as Armaan’s love interest, Ruhi’s screen time will eventually decrease and become very low. It is still not decided if we will see a new Ruhi or if Ruhi will end up dying in the upcoming episodes to finalise her exit from the story.

After Ruhi’s exit from the story, two more actors are ready to leave the show after the leap as the story does not focus on their roles anymore. They are none other than Sikandar Kharbanda and Siddharth Vasudev who play the roles of Manoj and Sanjay respectively.

Are Poddars and Goenkas now out of the new storyline of YRKKH?

As we have already noticed, the Poddar family has completely vanished and has not been seen once since the leap track started, which means that something broke up the family during the gap of 7 years. With such a premise going on, the viewers will not be seeing Manoj or Sanjay of the Poddar family anymore in the show.

There is a possible theory that states that Sanjay is the one who betrayed others to take control of the entire Poddar empire, after which Kaveri and Vidya were forced to leave the house with Abhira. We are excited to see when the makers disclose the details about the Poddars and Goenkas and give us a glimpse of how they are doing after the time skip in the story.
